Taped interviews with longtime residents of the Mattituck area gathered to update the 1906 History of Mattituck by Rev. Charles E. Craven. Many of the tapes have been transcribed and bound in several volumes called "Back Over The Years." There are also transcriptions not used in "Back Over The Years." Interview subjects include Ralph Tuthill, Irwin Tuthill, Eva Woodward, Arabella Stack McDermott, Katherine Lascelle, Julia Craven Penny, Elberta Hudson Reeve and Gertrude Reeve Raynor.
